Jamaica takes top Caribbean honours in World Travel Awards – English Version

Jamaica topped the Caribbean in the Earth Vacation Awards, choosing up trophies for the Caribbean’s Top Spot, the Caribbean’s Major Cruise Spot and the Caribbean’s Primary Tourist Board.

Jamaica’s Sangster Global Airport also won the Caribbean’s Major Airport.

The winners of the World Travel Awards were announced this 7 days with Jamaica primary the region with the vast majority of the top awards.

Other top awards ended up given to The Bahamas for the Caribbean’s Major Luxurious Island Spot, Cuba, for the Caribbean’s Top Cultural Spot, Cayman Islands, for the Caribbean’s Top Dive Place, Turks and Caicos, for the Caribbean’s Main Beach front Place, and Saint Lucia for the Caribbean’s Major Honeymoon Location.

In the lodge classification, Sandals gained the title for the Caribbean’s Top Lodge Model, with the winners amid its portfolio together with Sandals Royal Barbados (Caribbean’s Primary Resort), Sandals Grande Antigua (Caribbean’s Most Passionate Vacation resort), and Sandals Grenada (Caribbean’s Primary Luxury All-Inclusive Resort).

Shorelines Turks and Caicos was named the Caribbean’s Major All-Inclusive Household Resort.

With Caribbean tourism resurgent in 2021, Montego Bay’s latest arrival, Eclipse at 50 {32bc5e747b31d501df756e0d52c4fc33c2ecc33869222042bcd2be76582ed298} Moon, picked up the Caribbean’s Top New Resort, and The Ritz-Carlton, Turks and Caicos won the Caribbean’s Top New Vacation resort.

Other hospitality winners integrated Dominican Republic’s JW Marriott Hotel Santo Domingo (Caribbean’s Leading Resort) Jamaica’s Spherical Hill Lodge & Villas (Caribbean’s Primary Villa Vacation resort) Beach locations Turks and Caicos (Caribbean’s Leading All-Inclusive Family Vacation resort) and GoldenEye (Caribbean’s Primary Boutique Resort).

The benefits stick to a calendar year-long research for the world’s top travel, tourism and hospitality models.

Votes were cast by journey marketplace professionals and the public, with the nominee getting the most votes in a class named as the winner.
